Ron and Martha Wolford have been giving back to the community all of their adult lives. Together they have has assisted hundreds of families and charitable causes in both the local and statewide arena.
Three years ago the Wolfords found themselves with plenty of time on their hands and an unusual number of completed, unsold homes. This problem became an opportunity with the birth of ARTavenue, a gallery of local art, created in a Wolford Built Home to benefit Kosair Children's Hospital. Another home was donated to the hospital's Snow Ball Gala as a platinum silent auction item.
The Wolfords believe that giving back has been instrumental in making them stronger, both as a business and as individuals.
